Pedestal Set with Paver Lockdown -

REQUIRED: UnderLock FS Pavers

- Use this install type when pedestals are required to take the slope out below the paver surface.
- FS locks all pavers together for wind uplift and vandalism deterrence.

Pedestal Set with No Paver Lockdown -

REQUIRED: UnderLock SB Pavers

UnderLock UL316 SD Spacer Tabs

VJack Pedestals

- Use this install type when pedestals are required to take the slope out below the paver surface.

- SB provides safety for pedestal pavers where wind uplift and vandalism is NOT an issue.

Mortar Set -

REQUIRED: UnderLock NB Pavers

- Install in a properly prepared setting bed over a suitable substrate.

- Consult the TCA handbook for methods and means.

Spanning Joist Set -

REQUIRED: UnderLock FS Pavers

UnderLock UL316 SD Screw Down Locking Mechanism

- Use this install type when it is possible to tie it into the floor/deck joist. No pedestals are required. FS pavers are directly secured to the structure of the building with composite deck screws.

Over Old Existing Wood Deck -

REQUIRED: UnderLock SB or FS Pavers

UnderLock UL316 SD Screw Down Locking Mechanism

- Use this install type when going over existing wood or composite decking. SB pavers work well.

- Use FS pavers if lockdown is preferred. Use composite deck screw to secure decking.

Over Old Existing Concrete Patio -

REQUIRED: UnderLock SB or FS Pavers

UnderLock UL316 SD Screw Down Locking Mechanism

- Use this install type when going over existing wood or composite decking. SB pavers work well.

- Use FS pavers if lockdown is preferred. Use composite deck screw to secure decking.

Sand Set -

REQUIRED: UnderLock NB Pavers

- Install in a properly prepared setting aggregate and sand profile.
